### - We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - We require experience taking new design ideas from concept through development and into deployment or mass production. - We require proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems. - We require experience with power management and power monitoring systems. - We require an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or higher. - We require U.S. citizenship. - We require the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph after hire. - We require willingness to travel to active data center sites or commute as needed based on business demands. - We require the ability to work in physically demanding conditions with reasonable accommodation. - We prefer 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or similar critical infrastructure environments. - We prefer knowledge of critical data center equipment, engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures. - We prefer familiarity with building codes and regulations such as Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA. - We prefer experience in Data Center Engineering Operations with strong electrical and mechanical infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities:

- We serve as the primary escalation contact for facilities-related incidents. - We oversee the operation and upkeep of routine and emergency support systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS units, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, and building monitoring systems. - We perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and troubleshoot facility issues within internal service level agreements. - We train and guide Engineering Operations Technicians and partner with the Facility Manager to shape team culture. - We develop and roll out standard operating practices for Engineering Operations Technicians, Chief Engineers, and vendor teams. - We may support the construction and commissioning of new facilities and contribute to efficiency improvement projects. - We work outside standard business hours when required for maintenance and emergency response. - We communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - We collaborate with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and improve safety, reliability, performance, and efficiency. - We ensure safety procedures are followed by both vendor personnel and our staff. - We establish performance benchmarks, analyze facility operations, and prepare detailed maintenance and operations reports. - We use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other administrative tools to complete daily work. - We troubleshoot and maintain mission-critical electrical and mechanical equipment supporting high-availability data center operations. - We direct, train, and support technicians in hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. - We implement and execute site-specific and equipment-specific training exercises. - We manage projects from initial concept through completion. - We coordinate with internal and external teams, including engineering, automation, processing, and finance. - We define milestones, obtain and track cost estimates, and document project outcomes for reuse at other facilities.
