### Must have:

### - We require current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, CCNA Security, or CySA+. - We prefer CCNP Security or another CCNP certification. - We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance. - We require a bachelors degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered in place of the degree. - We need a strong working knowledge of VPN technologies, IPSec, and RA/CA processes and authorities.

Responsibilities:

- We provide firewall, routing, and switching support, including hands-on design, testing, and implementation of IGP, EGP, MPLS, VRF, and NFV/service chaining in an enterprise environment. - We ensure routing protocols are applied correctly to improve end-to-end network performance across LAN, WAN, CAN, SAN, and data center environments. - We help identify derived design objectives, technical specifications, performance requirements, and interoperability needs so the system design meets stakeholder expectations. - We prepare, review, and update briefings, papers, and spreadsheets in support of the effort. - We develop, implement, and maintain firewall and router access controls, NAT policies, VPN technologies, 802.1x, and RADIUS protocols within the enterprise. - We develop, implement, and support the overall network security architecture. - We support equipment development and testing, including monitoring server and hardware usage and uptime. - We provide guidance in complex troubleshooting scenarios and work directly with internal staff as needed. - We identify process improvement opportunities through better server utilization and design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. - We perform vulnerability and risk assessments of security hardware and applications throughout the system development lifecycle. - We collaborate with operations, QA, and third-party data centers on network topologies, server configurations, hardware and software deployments, firewall setups, and other staging and maintenance tasks for development, test, and production environments.
