### - We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience. - We look for 10+ years of experience developing, deriving, and allocating layered systems engineering requirements in avionics applications and LRU environments. - We need a broad working understanding of avionics development disciplines, including systems engineering, hardware, firmware, software, integration, testing, bid and proposal work, CONOPS, qualification, certification, system safety, FMEA, and lab operations. - We expect experience creating CONOPS and system/LRU architectures, along with basic to intermediate experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). - A valid and clear drivers license is required. - We need candidates who are willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

- We develop system-level and LRU architectures for complex aerospace electronics programs. - We lead the creation of CONOPS, requirements definition, requirements allocation, and test planning. - We guide multidisciplinary engineering teams building hardware, firmware, software, and AI/ML solutions for flight-worthy avionics, mission LRUs, and payload hardware. - We work directly with clients to define system requirements and design architectures that align with expectations. - We provide technical leadership across each program from concept through execution. - We use MBSE methods to support system design and architectural development. - We support technical marketing efforts, proposal development for embedded systems, and product and technology roadmap planning. - We serve as the system engineer for embedded avionics and aerospace programs. - We lead integrated development, integration, and test efforts across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and AI/ML disciplines. - We meet with internal and external customers to refine technical requirements and prepare specification and architecture documents. - We lead trade studies across relevant engineering domains. - We work with stakeholders to allocate functions to subsystems and translate those allocations into actionable requirements for engineering, design, development, integration, and test teams.
