### Must have:

### - We require 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on work in modern Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring and Guava. - We require strong working knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin-based development. - We require experience designing enterprise APIs and building RESTful web services. - We require experience with microservices architecture and object-oriented programming principles. - We require experience working within the agile software lifecycle. - We require proven ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively both independently and in team settings. - We require experience using Linux operating systems. - We require experience with configuration management tools such as Git, Nexus, and Maven. - We require strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, inquisitiveness, and excellent testing skills. - We require the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines under pressure. - We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to be processed for a U.S. Government security clearance; candidates with current Secret or TS clearance may also be considered. - We require the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and spend an average of 1--2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office, with flexibility for schedule changes. - We require one of the following educational or experience backgrounds: a bachelors degree in a related field, or a masters degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 9 years of relevant experience.
