### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience. - We require CCNP certification. - We need hands-on experience engineering, deploying, and operating LAN and WAN switches and firewalls within existing network environments. - We need working knowledge of defense-in-depth concepts, network and hardware/software security architecture, network topology, device integrity, and core security controls. - We require experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco networking and firewall equipment, including 2900, 4500, 9300, 9400, 6800, Nexus 9000, Firepower, and ASA platforms. - We require proven experience managing the information security incident lifecycle, including response, mitigation, post-incident reporting, and remediation planning. - We need experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, NetQoS, or NetBrain. - We need cross-platform familiarity with VMware, Linux, Microsoft Server, and Active Directory. - We require experience building firewall policies and optimized rule sets to improve efficiency and threat prevention. - We require experience deploying network configurations to meet NIST, FISMA, and STIG compliance requirements. - We need experience supporting ATO reviews and audits. - The selected candidate must be able to obtain DHS EOD SCI. - Preferred qualifications include a masters degree in IT management, engineering, or a related field. - Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of IT service delivery management experience. - Preferred qualifications include experience with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms. - Preferred qualifications include experience with the Everfox High Speed Guard platform. - Preferred qualifications include experience with Cisco and Juniper LAN/WAN network infrastructure. - Preferred qualifications include experience with Palo Alto firewalls. - Preferred qualifications include CISSP certification. - Preferred qualifications include CCNP Security certification. - Preferred qualifications include Palo Alto Networks Accredited Configuration Engineer certification for PAN-OS 7.0.

Responsibilities:

- We support the Insider Threat Program network infrastructure and handle routine maintenance activities. - We guide upgrade planning and system recapitalization efforts. - We manage availability and capacity across the network environment. - We oversee the High Speed Guard cross-domain solution that transfers data between multiple classification levels. - We maintain documentation that accurately captures the configuration baseline. - We design and support recapitalization plans to address capacity growth and customer-driven changes. - We serve as the subject matter expert for all Insider Threat Program network infrastructure.
