### Must have:

### - We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance to begin. - We need strong knowledge of network hardware specifications, configuration, and test procedures, along with familiarity with industry standards. - We expect hands-on experience configuring, activating, testing, and evaluating network systems. - We are looking for a background in network engineering, problem resolution, and performance management. - We need a solid understanding of telecommunications and information technology concepts. - We require knowledge of voice and data network design across multiple transport systems, including router-to-router links using military and commercial protocols such as BGP and ISIS, switch trunking with VLANs, and multiplexed circuit configurations. - We expect experience with network services such as BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and VRF, as well as appliances such as routers, load balancers, DNS servers, and firewalls. - We need the ability to collaborate in a team setting while also working independently to complete assignments and continue building process expertise. - We require strong written and verbal communication skills, plus proven team-building and collaboration abilities. - We require a DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE or an equivalent credential. - We require a BS with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

- We perform customer coordination, initial test and acceptance, reporting, and data entry for new service activations in line with DISA standards. - We work with customers, solution architects, and vendor subject matter experts to implement changes and identify, analyze, and resolve issues. - We manage service orders in accordance with change management procedures. - We ensure telecommunications service orders are accurate and in place for planned network additions and modifications. - We initiate network device configurations using configlets. - We analyze DISN and related databases to validate and apply customer requirements. - We design and implement solutions to complex technical problems through testing, documentation, and configuration updates on network devices. - We coordinate and schedule customer circuit activation with commercial vendors to deliver the engineered end-to-end connectivity solution. - We monitor the network to determine whether deployed changes affect customer traffic. - We apply systems analysis methods, including consulting users to identify hardware, software, and system functional needs. - We partner with DISA project managers and customers to resolve incomplete or unclear requirements. - We contact stakeholders and support approval workflows to keep service requests moving forward. - We train team members on the duties listed above.
