### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. - We are seeking at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. - We prefer candidates with Cisco CCNP R\&S, CCDP, or comparable advanced networking certifications. - We need strong expertise with Cisco platforms, including ISR, Nexus, NCS, and ASR, as well as Palo Alto firewall technologies. - We look for solid knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols such as BGP, MPLS, OSPF, STP, and VXLAN. - We value familiarity with Linux environments, particularly Rocky 8 and Fedora, along with network management and monitoring tools. - We expect excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities for resolving complex technical issues. - We require experience creating network documentation and designs using tools such as Visio, phpIPAM, or NetBox, plus proficiency with standard productivity software. - We want someone who can quickly learn and apply new networking tools, technologies, and methods in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities:

- We manage the day-to-day operation and upkeep of LAN and WAN networks. - We maintain Cisco and Palo Alto hardware and software, ensuring systems remain reliable and secure. - We install and support core services and troubleshoot Satcom Direct Government services. - We design, deploy, and refine network infrastructure across multiple sites to improve performance and lower operating costs. - We provide technical assistance to military personnel and internal team members as needed. - We investigate, isolate, and resolve complex network issues in a timely and effective manner. - We document network layouts, configurations, and changes to support ongoing operations and planning. - We monitor network environments and apply improvements that enhance efficiency and resilience.
