### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - We require at least 2 years of experience in software integration, development, or testing, ideally with radar systems or embedded systems. - We require hands-on experience with high-level programming languages such as C++ or Java. - We require familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or bash. - We require working knowledge of Linux and command-line operations. - We require experience using software debugging and troubleshooting tools such as GDB or Wireshark. - We require experience with version control and collaboration tools such as Jira, Git, or Rational ClearCase. - We require an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date.

Responsibilities:

- We assist senior engineers with software integration and testing activities. - We carry out basic software integration, system verification, and debugging in a shipyard environment. - We execute test plans, procedures, and scripts to confirm radar software functionality and performance. - We investigate and resolve software and hardware interface problems encountered during integration. - We document integration workflows, test outcomes, and troubleshooting actions to support knowledge transfer and traceability. - We support field installations and operational trials as needed to help ensure successful system deployment.

We are Butler America Aerospace, LLC, and we are seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Newport News, VA for a 6-month engagement at a pay range of $64 to $75 per hour. In this role, you will work on radar software integration, testing, and troubleshooting in support of system performance across a range of operating environments.
