### - We require a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, though additional experience, training, or certifications may be accepted in place of a degree. - We need hands-on experience administering Linux servers and workstations in small, complex network environments. - We expect strong proficiency in Linux system administration and file transfer protocols. - We require an active IAT Level II certification, such as Security+. - You must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold an active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI after hire. - Preferred: a masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. - Preferred: familiarity with Event Viewer, VMware, Active Directory, Group Policy, ACAS, and endpoint security tools. - Preferred: an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. - Preferred: an advanced Linux certification, such as Linux+.

Responsibilities:

- We provide daily on-site support to Government and DoD personnel to help maintain the security and reliability of the ISSE Guard and TMPC Network. - We handle maintenance, patching, STIG implementation, troubleshooting, and vulnerability management for mission-critical Linux systems. - We deliver end-to-end network engineering support, including planning, design, configuration, and operational oversight. - We evaluate TMPC Network and LAN components and recommend emerging technologies that can improve mission effectiveness. - We stay informed on evolving tactical capabilities and contribute to TMPC lifecycle development and modernization efforts. - We perform periodic security testing, support accreditation and certification documentation, and implement system upgrades. - We manage LAN maintenance tasks, including firewall administration, access control, VPN configuration, and switch/router updates aligned with baseline standards. - We develop solutions to complex technical issues and share best practices across Government and contractor teams. - We create, update, and refine security documentation, manage security activity schedules, and produce weekly and monthly LAN configuration reports. - We support Information Assurance and certification activities, advising stakeholders to maintain compliance with security policies and requirements.
