### Must have:
### - We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance. - We require a BS degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with fewer than 2 years of relevant experience. - We require strong knowledge of network hardware specifications, configuration, and testing methods. - We require experience in network engineering, problem management, and performance management. - We require familiarity with network architecture, technology evaluation, and needs assessments. - We require knowledge of data and voice network design across multiple transmission systems, including router-to-router connections using protocols such as BGP and ISIS, switch-to-switch trunking with VLANs, and circuit configurations through multiplexers. - We require experience with network services such as BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and VRF, as well as network appliances including routers, load balancers, firewalls, and DNS servers. - We require knowledge of configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing network systems. - We require the ability to work collaboratively in a team while remaining self-directed and continuously building proficiency. - We require strong written and verbal communication skills, along with team-building and collaboration ability. - We require DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE or an equivalent credential.
Responsibilities:

- We coordinate with customers, conduct Initial Test and Acceptance, complete reporting, and enter data for new network equipment and service activations in line with DISA standards. - We configure and maintain DISAs out-of-band management network using Cisco and Juniper devices with site-specific baseline settings. - We upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices. - We create and update project planning documentation, including IP addressing plans and port assignments for out-of-band management nodes. - We apply systems analysis methods, including consulting with users to identify hardware, software, and system functional needs. - We verify that point-of-contact, location, and interface information is accurate and properly formatted. - We validate the correct point of contact for each location along the circuit path. - We work with DISA project managers and customers to resolve incomplete or unclear requirements. - We engage stakeholders and drive approvals to keep service requests moving forward. - We train teammates on these duties as part of daily execution.
