### - We require a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related discipline. - We are looking for 10--15 years of combined WLAN and wired LAN experience in large enterprise environments. - We need professional-level expertise in Wi-Fi technologies, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. - We expect extensive hands-on experience with Cisco wireless infrastructure, including access points, wireless LAN controllers, and management platforms such as Prime Infrastructure and Catalyst Center. - We need proficiency in site surveys and wireless RF design using tools such as Ekahau, iBWave, or Airmagnet. - We require a solid grasp of LAN fundamentals, including PoE standards and architectures such as 3-tier and SD-Access. - We need strong understanding of Cisco routing and switching, multicast, and QoS. - We require experience implementing QoS in wireless environments. - We need experience with NAC and dot1x for both wired and wireless access. - We are looking for excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - We require strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications such as CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWNE, CCNP Enterprise, or CCIE Enterprise Wireless are preferred. - The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. - Experience with fabric wireless / SD-Access Wireless, Cisco ISE, Splunk, advanced protocols, SD-WAN, and automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

- We design scalable, secure wireless network solutions that support evolving enterprise needs across varied environments. - We gather and validate requirements for complex wireless initiatives while coordinating with stakeholders across LAN, security, and application teams. - We use Ekahau to build predictive RF models and heatmaps for wireless performance planning. - We determine optimal access point placement and RF coverage for offices, conference rooms, and outdoor areas. - We administer Cisco Identity Services Engine to enforce access control policies for wired and wireless users and devices. - We respond to incidents, diagnose network problems, and restore service quickly to reduce downtime and business impact. - We manage network configuration, inventory, and performance through Cisco Catalyst Center. - We develop Splunk dashboards and alerts for incidents, performance degradation, and security events. - We keep network documentation current, including configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and incident resolutions. - We advise government customers on best practices for operating and maintaining the network, and we produce reference documents and presentations. - We work with NASA customers, technicians, network engineers, and network architects to implement changes, resolve customer-impacting issues, and support escalations to engineering. - We carry out additional duties as assigned.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement, and the posted salary range for this role is $116,350 to $210,325.
