### Must have:

### - We require an active TS/SCI government security clearance to start, and the selected candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. - We are seeking candidates with a bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with experience expectations varying by level. - For the Information Assurance Engineer 1 level, we require no prior experience with a bachelors degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience. - For the Information Assurance Engineer 2 level, we require 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or no experience with a masters degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience. - For the Information Assurance Engineer 3 level, we require 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 3 years with a masters degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 9 years of relevant experience. - For the Information Assurance Engineer 4 level, we require 9 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 7 years with a masters degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 13 years of relevant experience. - We value relevant industry certifications, as applicable to the role. - We prefer prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting environments. - We expect proficiency with specialized tools or software related to the position. - We look for strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. - We prefer candidates with experience supporting security, cybersecurity, or information assurance functions in sensitive environments.

Responsibilities:

- We design and implement information assurance and security engineering solutions that support business continuity, operational security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, insider threat detection and mitigation, and physical security analysis. - We assess and reduce system security threats and risks throughout the full program lifecycle. - We validate security requirements and conduct detailed requirements analysis. - We develop secure system architectures and security design strategies. - We apply security controls across hardware, software, data, and operational procedures. - We verify that security requirements are satisfied through certification and accreditation planning, testing, and coordination support. - We assist with secure system operations and ongoing maintenance activities. - We support enterprise-level security and modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. - We contribute to a high-impact government program focused on protecting mission-critical systems and environments.
