What You Will Do

Design and maintain high-performance backend systems in Python and Go that process credit decisions in under 10 seconds.
Lead the architectural evolution of lending infrastructure, spanning flex loans, BNPL, and real-time banking experiences.
Partner with Data Science teams to integrate ML infrastructure, making merchant underwriting more powerful and intelligent through automated decisioning.

The ideal candidate

Possesses 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of scaling production systems at high-growth fintech startups.
Demonstrates deep technical expertise in Python, distributed systems, API design, and cloud infrastructure within AWS or GCP environments.
Thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments where you are expected to ship with urgency and provide technical leadership that elevates the entire team.
