Lead a specialized accounting engineering squad at the nexus of venture capital. You will manage the technical infrastructure that handles billions in capital calls and distributions for 20,000+ startups. This is a high-ownership role for a builder who wants to redefine how money moves through private markets using AI-first financial rigor.

What You Will Do

Lead and mentor a 4-person squad responsible for critical financial systems including NAV calculations, K-1 generation, and reconciliation.
Drive key technical and architectural decisions while remaining hands-on enough to conduct code reviews and unblock complex engineering hurdles.
Partner with stakeholders to align technical direction with the evolving needs of the venture financing business, ensuring 100% financial accuracy.

The ideal candidate

2+ years of experience managing engineering teams (3-8 people) with a proven track record of maintaining high talent density and ownership.
Deep domain expertise in numbers-intensive fields such as accounting, payroll, or ledger systems where precision and auditability are paramount.
Entrepreneurial builder's mindset, ideally with experience as a founder or early-stage engineer who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
