Offensive Security Operations Engineer
In this role, you will act as a general-purpose reverse engineer focusing on network-based devices to support up-and-coming projects. You will collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers to provide mission-centric tactical support.
Responsibilities
Augment existing toolsets.
Derive, document, and analyze requirements.
Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements.
Produce deployable toolsets that can operate within mission constraints.
Test and oversee testing of toolsets for release.
Required Skills
Familiarity with Unix-based systems.
Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices.
In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).
Able to produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
Provide support for fielded software systems.
Familiarity with Git and Subversion.
Knowledge of Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice To Have
Experience with reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS).
Proficiency in any of the following: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
Expertise in developing offensive security operations specific software across various operating systems.
Experience with vulnerability research and exploit development.
Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in technical field, or 10 years without degree
Location: Columbia, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
