Job Description

Full Stack Developer

You will act as a full stack developer for the Section 7 team, improving mission processes and enabling activities through custom applications and data visualization. The candidate will work closely with the mission customer to deliver support on various tasks.

Responsibilities

Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.
Find and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate into new and existing tools.
Develop new UIs and visualizations for customers to better understand their data.
Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with other teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.

Required Skills

Experience developing in Python specifically for data transformations.
Experience writing frontend web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript React.
Experience querying and developing in a big data environment.
Experience managing Linux servers.
Comfort working directly with customers to solve unique problems.
Motivation to architect and implement solutions from beginning to end.

Nice To Have

Experience using AWS.
Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastApi, Angular, Spring Boot).
Mentorship skills for teaching others.
Knowledge of AI/ML and Big Data tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).

Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 16 years without degree

Location: Columbia, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
