Were looking for a Cloud Service Engineer to join our National Project Teamsomeone who thrives in collaborative environments and brings deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Azure and modern cloud management platforms like Nerdio This role is centered around delivering secure scalable and high performing cloud solutions for our clients in coordination with project managers technical leads and client stakeholders You wont be handling reactive support ticketsyoull be designing configuring and implementing modern workplace technologies that move projects forward Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical contributor on cloud and Microsoft 365 projects collaborating with project managers fellow engineers and client teamsPlan configure and deploy Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online SharePoint Online Teams Intune and Entra IDDesign and implement cloud based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure including virtual networks storage identity and compute resourcesLeverage Nerdio Manager for Enterprise or MSP to automate and manage Azure Virtual Desktop AVD cost optimization and policy enforcementImplement and manage identity and access solutions using Entra ID including conditional access MFA and hybrid identityConfigure and manage endpoint security and compliance policies using Microsoft IntuneMigrate on premises services to Microsoft 365 and Azure and assist with hybrid environment transitionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 Azure and Nerdio managed environmentsCreate or update technical documentation related to deployed cloud services and configurationsParticipate in internal design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud delivery standardsAccurately log time and update task statuses regularlyRequired Skills \& Experience 35 years of experience in cloud engineering systems administration or a similar role focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure service deliveryStrong hands on experience with Microsoft 365 services includingExchange OnlineSharePoint OnlineMicrosoft TeamsIntune for device and application managementEntra ID identity governance and access managementExperience with Microsoft Azure includingAzure Virtual Desktop AVDAzure networking storage and computeAzure identity and access managementExperience with Nerdio for managing and automating Azure environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance featuresGeneral understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory in hybrid environmentsKnowledge of Google Workspace a plusAdditional cloud knowledge in any cloud based software including migration and management assistance a plusAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong time management and independent task deliveryExcellent communication and documentation skills especially in remote and client facing environmentsPhysical Requirements The physical requirements below describe the essential job functions needed to complete this job Consistent hand and finger dexterity necessary to operate computer equipmentConsistently required to sit stand walk talk hear and seeRoutine use of hands to typeOccasional need to stoop kneel crouch twist crawl reach and stretchOccasional need to walk around the officeConsistent vision abilities required; close vision depth perception and ability to focusOccasional need to lift andor move up to 30 poundsThe statements contained in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of workWork EnvironmentConditions The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as in typical office or administrative workWork is in an open office environment with steady conversation and interruptionBenefits MedicalDentalVision health plansHSAFSA participation based on insurance planPTOSickHoliday payAbility to contribute to Long term Disability and Short Term Disability plans401K participationExplosive company growthThe statements contained in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to the job They are not intended to be interpreted as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities duties and skills required of the individuals holding this position Work involves sitting most of the time Walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met
