Senior Control Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Program and configure controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory systems.
Develop system graphics, sequences of operation, control narratives, and technical documentation.
Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Support field technicians and customers during installation and commissioning activities.
Conduct system performance analysis and implement energy optimization strategies.
Provide technical support, training, and service assistance to customers as needed.
Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, and as-built records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
7+ years of experience in controls engineering, building automation, or industrial automation.
Experience with BAS/BMS platforms such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar systems.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, control strategies, and energy management systems.
Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development.
Understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring, and instrumentation.
Experience with communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP networking.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
