### - We are looking for experience supporting the full lifecycle of Advanced Distribution Management Systems, including design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. - We need strong ability to analyze business needs, operational processes, and user expectations and convert them into technical designs and implementation plans. - We expect experience reviewing technical designs, configurations, code, deployment packages, and implementation plans for quality, completeness, security compliance, and adherence to enterprise standards. - We value hands-on troubleshooting expertise, including root cause analysis, log review, trace inspection, and validation of recent system changes. - We require knowledge of workstation and server patching in Windows and Linux environments. - We seek familiarity with virtualized infrastructure and tools such as VMware vCenter. - We need the ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams, including network topology, IP/LAN layouts, firewall sheets, server architecture diagrams, and interface specifications. - We prefer experience with system integrations and interface testing across platforms such as SCADA, OMS, GIS, DMS, historian tools, ICCP, and enterprise data connections. - We expect the ability to create and maintain dashboards and operational reports, including Power BI. - We require strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with operators, engineers, cybersecurity teams, network teams, vendors, and project stakeholders. - We value experience supporting end users with access issues, configuration questions, password resets, and feature-related requests. - A bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- We design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support ADMS software, hardware, and integrated solutions that enable grid operations. - We translate business requirements and operational workflows into technical solution designs, system settings, and rollout plans. - We review peer work products to verify accuracy, completeness, security alignment, and conformity with our standards. - We investigate escalated incidents, determine root causes, and propose immediate fixes as well as long-term corrective actions. - We monitor system health, evaluate operational performance, and help ensure service levels and reliability targets are met. - We support the release of new capabilities, modules, patches, upgrades, and defect fixes across development, testing, and production environments. - We perform system troubleshooting through configuration checks, log analysis, trace review, and change verification. - We document procedures, configurations, troubleshooting methods, and operating practices to improve knowledge sharing and consistency. - We administer workstation and server patching and help maintain environment readiness for project delivery. - We configure workstations, applications, and related components to satisfy project and operational requirements. - We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate system status, issues, and deployment progress. - We assist users with access problems, login support, password resets, configuration questions, and feature requests. - We test interfaces and integrations to confirm data accuracy and availability across operational systems. - We develop and maintain operational and analytical reports and dashboards to support decision-making. - We work in virtualized environments to provision, monitor, and manage system resources.

We are hiring an ADMS Technology Engineer to join our team in South Plainfield, New Jersey, supporting the technology lifecycle of Advanced Distribution Management Systems that help power grid operations. This role offers an hourly range of $64.00 to $67.00, with final compensation based on our salary analysis, market conditions, and the selected candidates skills, education, and experience.
