### Must have:

### - We require a masters degree or equivalent experience in Optics, Optical Sciences, Optical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. - We look for 3+ years of hands-on experience in optical testing, measurement, and analysis within a hardware engineering setting. - We need proficiency with optical test instruments such as spectroradiometers, photometers, colorimeters, and autocollimators. - We expect the ability to script test sequences, automate data collection and analysis, and carry out image processing using Python, C#, or C++. - We require strong statistical analysis skills for large datasets, including experience using JMP to derive actionable insights. - We value familiarity with display or electronics manufacturing processes and hardware build cycles. - We need the ability to troubleshoot test sequences, optical prototypes, and electronic systems. - We look for strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with clear documentation and proactive communication. - We expect the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Preferred qualifications include knowledge of color science, display calibration, and control algorithms. - Preferred experience includes work with display and optics for AR/VR. - Preferred experience includes optical design or simulation tools such as Zemax or LightTools. - Preferred experience includes opto-mechanical design tools such as Ansys, SolidWorks, or NX.

Responsibilities:

- We develop, execute, and document optical test and calibration procedures for display hardware, optical modules, and related components. - We partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define testing and calibration needs and help ensure product quality. - We analyze test data, investigate issues, and share feedback with design and manufacturing teams. - We maintain and calibrate optical test equipment while following laboratory safety standards. - We prepare reports and present our findings to stakeholders.
