### Must have:

### - High School diploma or equivalent, along with hotel or related field experience required. - Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a hotel or related environment preferred. - Trade school education or college coursework in a related field is beneficial. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects, exerting over 100 pounds occasionally and over 50 pounds frequently. - Flexibility for long working hours as necessary. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of staff and guests in a courteous and attentive manner. - Effective listening and clarification of concerns raised by guests and team members. - Skill in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively. - High standards of personal grooming and appearance, including adherence to uniform policies.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the property is maintained in excellent condition with minimal inconvenience to guests and staff. - Diagnose and repair refrigeration and kitchen equipment malfunctions. - Perform repairs and maintenance on the hotel air conditioning systems including filter changes and motor replacements. - Conduct preventive maintenance on vital equipment like boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and electrical units. - Take necessary readings on various equipment. - Test and monitor the cooling towers performance and log readings. - Replace and program televisions when necessary. - Replace light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures as required. - Execute furniture repairs as needed. - Conduct pump replacement and repairs. - Carry out plumbing repairs such as dealing with clogged drains and changing fittings. - Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams efficiently. - Locate and fix all types of water line issues. - Maintain accurate repair and preventive maintenance records. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes during repairs and maintenance work. - Paint designated areas and repair any sheetrock. - Fix various wall coverings and manage the hotels electronic lock system maintenance.
