Mechanical Engineer - LA - Aerospace Scale-up

We're on the hunt for an exceptional Mechanical Engineer to own, lead, and define the development of a cutting-edge DeepTech product which has already proven successful in mission-critical deployments.

Ideal candidates will hold a true passion for seeing complex mechanical challenges through from ideation to deployment.

What You’ll Work On:
End-to-end mechanical design: concept, CAD, simulation, and test
Full ownership of complex components for spacecraft development
Rapid prototyping within a Start-Up environment
Collaboration with cross-functional teams including software, avionics, and manufacturing

What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in a highly-regulated industry
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Experience with thermal and structural simulation tools (FEA)
A proven history of extreme-ownership

Nice to have:
Experience working directly on spacecraft
