### Must have:

### - We require active-duty military status and eligibility within the final 180 days of active service; applications are accepted up to 12 months before separation. - We require an active Top Secret SCI security clearance that must be maintained throughout the internship. - We look for approximately 10 years of combined relevant experience in areas such as cyber support, radio frequency operations, emerging technologies, CBRNE, UAS operations, or autonomous systems support. - We prefer candidates whose education and background align with the Program of Instruction. - We seek applicants with military experience in operations, intelligence, electronics, IT, or systems integration that can translate into test engineering work. - We require availability during core working hours for essential meetings and training activities. - Physical capabilities must align with the demands of the assigned Program of Instruction.

Responsibilities:

- We train the intern to perform as a Systems Test Engineer supporting HII Mission Technologies. - We apply military experience to help plan, conduct, and document system testing and assessment activities. - We develop and refine assessment plans that improve opportunities for meaningful data collection. - We review requirements and help shape test and evaluation approaches for emerging technologies. - We support logistics planning and equipment preparation for assessment execution. - We collect, organize, and analyze results using both manual and electronic methods. - We conduct assessments in a fast-paced, agile environment and produce actionable findings. - We provide recommendations that help analysts determine best practices for technology use. - We deliver objective, evidence-based conclusions that support operational decision-making. - We participate in special assignments as needed and work closely with a mentor and senior leadership. - We learn organizational processes, reporting standards, instrumentation equipment, and the RD-TSX workflow.
