**Processing Engineer**

Since 1983, HTI Cybernetics® has provided intelligent manufacturing solutions that support and enhance production, including automation systems, material handling solutions, assembly tooling, and collaborative robotics.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Reporting to the Processing Manager the Process Engineer is responsible for development of advanced assembly processes for new projects.
* The Processor will develop a process based on customer requirements including system layout, cycle time study and process flow.
* Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Team to ensure accuracy of Processes and related documents.
* Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs to create Processes and supporting documents.
* Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed.

Requirements

**Education/Skills Required:**

* 5 years of experience in Advanced Processing of automotive assembly machinery and tooling.
* Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing.
* Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred.
* Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required.
* Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
* Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
