centrecom is looking to add an experienced ICT Support Administrator to their busy helpdesk team of 4. The successful candidate
will provide Tier 1 \& Tier 2 support for Corporate and SME business clients across a range of ICT services, from business
broadband to networking equipment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting
technical issues, managing new installations, providing technical advice to customers, and providing in-house pre-sales support.
This role will be primarily based in centrecom's offices in Dublin City Centre and will covering business hours but some flexibility is
expected where needed. Approximately 20% of the role will be field based.
qualifications, experience \& skills required
Candidate needs to be:
• Highly skilled at problem solving
• A good communicator (both written and verbal)
• Able to provide an excellent customer service experience
• Well organised with ability to manage concurrent multiple tasks
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical support role
• 3rd level technical qualification (preferably a degree)
• Full Irish driver's license an advantage
• Industry-recognised qualifications (eg CCNA) an advantage
Technical skills:
Essential:
• TCP/IP networking
• Router hardware \& firmware
• Understanding of the various Irish broadband technologies/networks
Advantageous, but not Essential:
• Windows7 and XP operating systems
• MS 365 \& Google apps
• Firewall / VPN experience
• VoIP / SIP phones experience
