Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

Develop custom analytics and innovative tools to solve critical strategic problems for the intelligence community.
Collaborate closely with data scientists and mission analysts to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
Perform end-to-end software engineering, including prototyping, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Operationalize data science findings into production-ready systems.
Work within an Agile framework utilizing tools like Jira and GitLab.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in Python PySpark, Java MapReduce, and Jupyter Notebooks.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning fundamentals, and big data technologies.
Experience with customer-specific tools, architectures, and data flows is essential.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Desirable: Experience with Data Science, ML, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
