### Must have:
### - We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, along with any additional clearances as needed. - We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years of relevant experience. - We will also consider candidates with a masters degree and at least 10 years of related experience. - In lieu of a degree, we require a minimum of 16 years of directly related experience. - We need broad management and leadership capability to guide cross-functional project teams or operate across functions. - We require experience recruiting and hiring technical talent. - We require experience developing technical and cost-volume inputs for proposals. - We require experience as a Cost Account Manager using EVMS and supporting the program execution lifecycle. - We require the ability to travel up to 10%. - Preferred qualifications include experience in Agile environments, Scrum certification or experience, proposal development and Basis of Estimate creation, DevOps tools and procedures, and development experience in real-time embedded software, information assurance, naval communications, or safety-critical systems.
Responsibilities:

- We lead software design and development from requirements analysis and specifications through design, implementation, and delivery. - We drive efficient engineering processes and establish best practices for software development. - We perform code and design reviews to support quality and consistency. - We collaborate with software managers, electrical and systems engineering leaders, and the Program Chief Engineering team to improve product development and balance engineering assignments across the organization. - We define and implement development processes and standards that improve team productivity and performance. - We mentor, coach, and guide team members in career growth and development opportunities. - We contribute hands-on development work on projects as needed. - We conduct performance reviews for engineers. - We manage recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for additional software engineers. - We support engineering proposal cost estimation and Basis of Estimate activities. - We manage manpower allocation within a matrix organization.
