### Must have:
### - We require a bachelors degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. - We need demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry. - We require a strong understanding of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems. - We need experience with Johnson Controls software programming. - We require demonstrated experience integrating low-voltage building subsystems using industry protocols such as LON and BACnet. - We need the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. - We require advanced computer skills, especially with computer-aided drafting tools. - We require the ability to travel regularly.
Responsibilities:

- We design, configure, and operate complete building control systems, including fire, security, and other low-voltage subsystems such as lighting, nurse call, and data networks. - We ensure our designs meet project requirements and contract documents. - We create flow diagrams, operating sequences, bills of material, network layouts, and electrical schematics as needed. - We develop and test software programs required for system operation. - We coordinate and produce drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation. - We select, order, and monitor the delivery of materials for assigned projects. - We coordinate factory mounting activities to align with project and factory schedules. - We assist with loading and commissioning system and network-level controllers. - We support system validation and help resolve issues with subcontractors and other trades. - We provide field change information for as-built drawings and software updates. - We keep management, contractors, and customers informed about progress and issues. - We assist with site-specific training for owners and operators on the building control system. - We participate in release meetings with the project field team. - We apply value engineering to deliver cost-effective outcomes while maintaining customer satisfaction. - We may guide Systems Design Assistants. - We follow safety standards and maintain a strong focus on employee and subcontractor safety. - We travel as required for the role.
