Primary Responsibilities

This role sits within a high-impact engineering team responsible for modernizing reporting, analytics, and automation platforms that support healthcare claims, payment integrity, and financial operations.
The candidate will partner with business, data, and platform teams to design and build scalable solutions across on prem and cloud environments. The work supports large-scale claims platforms and operational decision-making, with a strong emphasis on data quality, automation, and modernization.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of software development experience using one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java
3+ years working with relational databases, including SQL Server, Oracle, IBM Db2, MySQL, Teradata, or equivalent platforms
3+ years building data solutions using BI and ETL tools, such as SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies
Experience designing and optimizing data models, stored procedures, and complex SQL for high volume enterprise systems
Experience supporting production systems with a focus on stability, performance, and data integrity
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business stakeholders in a regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UnitedHealthcare claims platforms such as Facets, COSMOS, UNET, USP
Hands on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-based data architectures
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and migration of on prem workloads to cloud platforms
Working knowledge of NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB
Experience building RESTful services and web solutions using Angular, React, TypeScript, Java Spring Boot, Node.js or similar frameworks
Exposure to AI / ML tools and languages such as Python, R, SAS, and their application in analytics or automation
Experience with containerization and microservices, including Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, artifact management tools, and modern DevOps practices
Experience using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) to support workflow automation and business solutions
Experience creating, configuring, and managing Copilot agents to support business workflows, automation, and analytics

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
