Slayden Constructors Inc SCI a wholly owned subsidiary of MWH Constructors Inc MWH is currently looking for Field Engineers to support CivilStructuralEarthworks components on a significant wastewater treatment plant WWTP project in Klamath Falls Oregon Selected individuals will provide technical and field support to project management and project supervision staff to ensure construction work is performed efficiently on schedule and in accordance with company policy and engineering standards Slayden is a leader in the construction industry with a primary focus on water and wastewater infrastructure Slayden is built on strong values hard work and a commitment to getting the job done right The success of our company is best expressed through our efforts to provide a safe workplace with respected employees and a committed management team Our approach has provided steady growth in work volume successful career development for personnel and an extensive list of satisfied clients for more than 30 years Essential Functions Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees following the company health and safety guidelines and policiesAssist with construction layout material and equipment procurement submittal review manpower scheduling quantity takeoffs document controls material purchases deliveries and inventory and project controlsPerform ongoing field and quality inspections; verify all completed work complies with applicable work plans permits codes drawings and specificationsPrepare and disseminate required documentation records such as materials and equipment submittals status reports sketches of work completed material requirement calculations etc to supervisorPrepare drawings and sketchings to support construction work temporary works work method statements change orders estimates etcPreparefacilitate and submit work method statements ensure requisite approvals and permits are obtained prior to work commencementProvide in the field support to supervision and craft labor to facilitate the planned and safe execution of construction activities and lead selected activities as required or directedResearch and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems conflicts interferences and errors initiate RFIs and follow through to resolutionLayout and provide necessary building control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation of materialsReview incoming correspondence and initiate action on it review and process subcontractors pay applications review of the project schedule process RFIs and produce weekly and monthly construction progress reportsAssist with review and analyze contractor claims prepare change orders and manage claims and change order recordsBasic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Civil Mechanical Electrical or Process Engineering or related field; an equivalent combination of time served construction experience skills and training may also be considered as an equitable qualification0 5 years of construction design andor field support experienceknowledgeWorking knowledge of construction equipment techniques drawings and specifications building materials and required standards applicable to disciplineAbility to manage interfaces and communicate effectively with othersFamiliarity with Project Management data base systems such as CMiC P6 Bluebeam CAD Expedition SharePoint etcPreferred Qualifications Prior experience with waterwastewater constructionCivilstructuralearthworks experience on large heavy civil construction or process projects ie power gas petrochem or mining processOnsite experience with a self performing contractor demonstrating successful performance on projects greater than 10MCompensation Anticipated salary budgeted for this role is 90000 110000 per year depending on experienceBenefits Health Insurance medical dental and vision100 Company Paid Benefits Employee Life \& AD\&D Spouse and Dependent Life \& AD\&D STD LTD Employee Assistance Program and Health AdvocateVoluntary Benefits at a Discounted Group RateFlexible Time Off Policy includes vacation sick and personal timePaid Parental Leave Program10 Paid Holidays401k Plan company matching contributions up to 4Employee Referral ProgramPlease note that all positions require pre employment screening including drug and background check as a condition of employment Equal Opportunity Employer including disabled and veterans LI RF1 LI ONSITE
