**Talon Hiring Solutions has a client in the Cincinnati, OH area that is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team!**This person will support the design and execution of process engineering projects, with a focus on developing practical, innovative solutions that help clients achieve their operational goals. The ideal candidate has strong process design experience, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality results.
**What You Will Do:**
* Support the execution of engineering projects as part of a collaborative project team.
* Develop process designs primarily for clients in the consumer products industry.
* Investigate and analyze technical data to make informed process design decisions.
* Ensure designs align with company standards, client requirements, and project objectives.
* Apply engineering principles and theory to evaluate the feasibility of process designs.
* Identify potential process upsets, operational issues, and equipment malfunctions, and recommend effective solutions.
* Evaluate and implement commercially available technologies to support process operations and project goals.
* Apply applicable engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices throughout the design process.
* Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
* Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong ethical standards in all technical and client interactions.
**What You Will Bring:**
* Bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in the consumer products industry preferred.
* Experience in leading or executing process designs in the form of engineering calculations documented on PFD's, P\&ID's, general arrangement drawings, specifications, design basis, and associated lists.
* Knowledge of typical chemicals and fluids used in consumer products applications, interactions with materials of construction, and proper design considerations.
* Fluency with AutoCAD and Fathom.
* Understanding of fluid control valves and instrumentation.
* Familiarity with specification and sizing of pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and other process equipment.
* Great customer relationship skills/management experience.
* Preferably on-site, in plant, and startup experience
