### Must have:

### - We require 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in IT support, a SOC, or an MSP environment. - We are looking for a strong technical foundation in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, and networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, and VPNs. - We need familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, Vonahi, or similar platforms. - We expect exposure to penetration testing concepts and tools. - We require experience with EDR/XDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or comparable tools. - We look for incident investigation and response experience. - We require CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent certification. - We need strong communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts to non-technical audiences. - We require a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for occasional client site visits. - Preferred: Huntress MDR experience is a strong advantage. - Preferred: Experience with Vonahi VulScan or vPenTest. - Preferred: Additional certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, GIAC, or Microsoft Security. - Preferred: SIEM platform experience, including Sentinel, Splunk, or LogRhythm. - Preferred: Penetration testing certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or GPEN. - Preferred: Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or Python. - Preferred: Familiarity with security compliance frameworks including NIST, CIS Controls, and HIPAA. - Preferred: MSP or managed security services experience.

Responsibilities:

- We monitor and respond to security alerts from Huntress SOC, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and CyberQP. - We investigate and triage security incidents to determine severity, scope, and root cause. - We coordinate incident response activities with our technical team and clients. - We resolve security incidents within SLA targets. - We escalate critical threats with detailed technical findings. - We manage complex security escalations for managed IT and co-managed clients, including broad client-wide events and major incidents. - We oversee Microsoft 365 backup creation and implementation across client environments. - We manage dark web monitoring and threat intelligence platforms across our client base. - We support managed networking deployments, including switches and firewalls. - We deploy and administer vulnerability scanning tools such as Vonahi VulScan across client environments. - We analyze scan results and prioritize remediation based on risk. - We conduct penetration testing assessments for clients using Vonahi vPenTest. - We prepare detailed vulnerability reports and remediation plans. - We track remediation progress and maintain metrics and dashboards. - We develop and maintain security policies and procedures for clients. - We support client security awareness training initiatives. - We create and maintain SOPs for security tools and service desk processes. - We manage security awareness training programs for clients using the Infima platform. - We assist with compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and CIS Controls. - We stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices. - We communicate recommendations and findings clearly to non-technical client stakeholders.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site role in Evansville, Indiana, with occasional remote flexibility. The position offers a compensation range of $40,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications, along with health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, flexible scheduling, and professional development support.
