### Must have:
### - We require a high school diploma or GED, along with a vocational or technical background. - We look for extensive training and experience in general maintenance, electrical work or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, and exterior/interior surface preparation and painting. - We require at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience. - We require a valid drivers license. - We require Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification. - We require compliance with all applicable state and federal certification and licensing requirements.
Responsibilities:

- We respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with limited supervision. - We perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections. - We identify and operate shut-off valves and maintain maintenance inventory while ordering parts and supplies as needed. - We communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved communication standards. - We read blueprints and electrical schematics and apply strong engineering, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building knowledge. - We safely complete complex repairs across physical property systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, and pool heaters, in line with company standards and local and national codes. - We troubleshoot and repair equipment such as pumps, motors, toilets, drains, lamps, HVAC units, switches, outlets, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, and TVs. - We use the Lockout/Tagout system before starting maintenance work. - We use engineering computer systems for preventive maintenance, energy management, and related functions. - We perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. - We train and mentor other engineers when needed. - We handle Engineer on Duty duties, including readings and rounds. - We follow company, safety, and security procedures, report hazards or incidents, and complete required training and certifications. - We maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and provide courteous guest service. - We build positive working relationships, support team goals, communicate professionally, and complete other reasonable duties as assigned. - We must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance, and work on stairs, ramps, ladders, and in bent or stooped positions.
