### Must have:

### - We require a B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering, with relevant experience in firmware and software development. - We need direct, applicable experience designing displays, microcontrollers, and video circuits. - We are looking for 5 to 7 years of minimum experience. - We require real-world software and firmware application design experience. - We need a strong background in system-level electro-mechanical design. - We value proven hands-on problem-solving ability. - We prefer experience in a fast-paced, design-to-production environment. - We require competence with buses and communication protocols. - We need familiarity with military standards, norms, and regulations. - We require U.S. citizenship with no exceptions.

Responsibilities:

- We determine system architectures, bus topologies, and electrical plus firmware/software design requirements based on initial design specifications and marketing needs. - We define electrical design objectives and priorities using customer input and by reviewing similar products. - We carry out design and coding work to implement approved system design projects. - We plan projects by analyzing customer requirements and collaborating with other engineering team members. - We organize design efforts by identifying both short-term and long-term needs. - We develop electro-mechanical designs by preparing diagrams and drawings in PADS, and SolidWorks is a strong plus. - We work with related design teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers. - We identify and resolve design integration, interface, and manufacturability challenges. - We establish design specifications for the product. - We support prototype build and test activities. - We create Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). - We conduct testing, isolate issues, and resolve performance problems. - We coordinate design team activities and obtain expert input where needed. - We review open issues and action items and contribute technical analysis to team meetings and reports. - We guide technicians and prepare progress reports for management. - We provide sustaining support, including technical assistance and troubleshooting production issues related to electro-mechanical design.
