### Must have:
### - We require a bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field. - We expect 8--10 years of experience delivering new product development for consumer products. - You should be a hands-on builder with strong ownership and follow-through. - We look for deep expertise in embedded systems, including electronics and firmware integration, as well as architecture and design of complex electromechanical products. - You need strong fundamentals in mixed-signal analog and digital circuit design. - You should have board-level design and validation experience, including component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout; Altium experience is preferred. - We need experience developing and leading test plans for hardware and firmware, including regulatory compliance such as EMC, FCC, CE, and UL. - You should have real-time embedded systems experience with microprocessors and microcontrollers. - We expect demonstrated experience in firmware design and documentation practices. - You should have strong knowledge of embedded C/C++ and object-oriented programming. - You need experience writing firmware for applications that use RTOS. - You should be familiar with DfX and quality methodologies such as FMEA, DFMEA, DFM, and DFA. - We look for strong root-cause analysis and debugging skills across both hardware and firmware. - You must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities:

- We lead the full embedded systems lifecycle by defining requirements, designing, building, testing, and refining hardware and firmware from concept through validation. - We architect end-to-end embedded systems that connect electronics, firmware, sensing, and controls with water, steam, thermal, lighting, and air. - We design integrated hardware such as PCBAs, control systems, sensor networks, and electromechanical interfaces for demanding bathroom environments. - We own schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and hardware bring-up, taking products from concept to production-ready validation. - We create solutions that perform reliably under heat, humidity, and water exposure while balancing durability and safety. - We integrate firmware to deliver responsive, intuitive control and a seamless user experience. - We prototype early and test frequently to validate function, performance, and the overall wellness experience. - We define requirements, identify risks, and verify solutions through structured testing, tolerance analysis, and costed execution planning. - We translate complex systems into manufacturable solutions that align with supplier capabilities and production realities. - We develop differentiated hardware innovations that help strengthen our intellectual property position. - We continuously explore advances in sensing, control, and environmental systems to guide future development. - We communicate technical insights clearly to speed decisions and reduce execution risk.
