### Must have:

### - We require an associates or bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, technical studies, or a comparable mix of education, training, and experience. - We look for strong time management skills and a sharp eye for detail. - We need excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. - We expect the ability to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and balance urgency with thoroughness. - We value a professional, positive, energetic, self-driven, trustworthy, and respectful approach. - We require solid computer skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, and remote access tools. - We need a strong grasp of industrial power, electrical and control circuits, devices, and networking fundamentals. - We expect demonstrated PLC programming capability, particularly with SCO Unix, Linux, Siemens, and Allen Bradley-based systems. - We require the ability to read schematics, diagrams, wiring documents, and related technical materials. - We prefer familiarity with C++ and Siemens S7. - We value the ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and operate independently in a remote setting. - We prefer experience with sortation systems, electrical and controls troubleshooting, and PLC/PC-based programming.

Responsibilities:

- We provide hands-on technical support to customers across North America, Mexico, and Central America. - We coordinate and deliver hotline support for new and legacy customers, working closely with our European hotline teams. - We learn, understand, and troubleshoot the electrical and controls elements of installed systems. - We diagnose electro-mechanical equipment and PLC/PC communication issues. - We analyze system behavior, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems. - We communicate clearly and courteously with customers while guiding them toward effective resolutions. - We coordinate issue resolution with engineering, customer support, and other internal teams. - We interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation. - We instruct and direct workers in servicing and repairing equipment. - We consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual operational and maintenance issues. - We may supervise testing, tuning, and adjustment activities to optimize equipment performance. - We understand electrical drawings and specifications as they relate to machine control programming. - We develop and apply strategies and standards for training, skills matrices, response handling, and reporting. - We follow best practices with our European hotline and technical teams, including use of the stage-gate process and ServiceNow. - We may take on special projects and other duties as needed to support company requirements. - We are prepared for ongoing training, on-site visits, frequent travel within North America, and occasional extended international travel.
