**Department Overview**

**Position Summary**

Performs engineering work in support of transmission or distribution operations, production, construction and/or maintenance functions within Gas Operations. Identifies, diagnoses and solves technical problems. Ensures the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of all engineering services work and projects. Prepares new or modified designs. Creates and maintains company standards for area of focus.

**Job Responsibilities**

* Develops knowledge in other areas of specialty/discipline or continues to focus on one area and increases depth of knowledge.
* Manager assigns work and projects providing guidance when requested and reviewing progress and outcomes.
* Performs engineering work of moderate scope and complexity selecting from different tools, methods, approaches and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions
* **Qualifications**
* Minimum:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
* Job-related experience, 3 years
* Desired:
* Experience in gas distribution industry, job-related
* Experience in gas transmission, or related
* EIT-Engineer in Training certification
* PE-Professional Engineer license
