Job Description

Mechanical engineers will have ownership of the mechanical design and development of primary and secondary components and subsystems in the development of Thea Energy’s stellarator fusion systems. Responsibilities include structural and thermomechanical design, manufacturability, development, and commissioning of these systems.

Requirements: Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields and at least 5 years of experience in designing and commissioning custom systems. Extensive experience with CAD software and the ability to mentor junior engineers are also required.
