Job Description

Design, develop, test, and deliver planning pipelines, cost-based optimization logic, and scheduling strategies for watsonx.data's analytical engine. Collaborate in an Agile environment to influence query latency, resource efficiency, and high-concurrency performance at petabyte scale.

Requirements: Candidates should have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in query engine development or database internals. Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or C++ and hands-on experience with optimization techniques are essential.
