Principal Software Engineer - Variant Knowledge Platform

Job Description

The Principal Software Engineer will own the technical design for complex problems related to the Variant Knowledge Platform and lead cross-team technical programs. They will also mentor engineers and shape the platform's role in enabling future test content and assay development.

Requirements: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in REST API design and backend programming, particularly in Python. Preferred qualifications include experience in genomics or bioinformatics and working in regulated environments.
