Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Reputable multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Des Moines team!  

Responsibilities:

* Provide high-level project design/review of project documents
* Ensure design quality for complex projects across various sectors
* Lead QA/QC initiatives/develop standards and guidelines
* Serve as advisor on complex projects and make recommendations/decisions on project design work
* Promote efficiencies/high-quality output within the team
* Deliver high quality engineering designs
* Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering
* 6+ years of progressive engineering experience
* PE License
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
* Comprehensive understanding of International Building Codes

Salary is commensurate with experience.
