****About the role****

****Kaimetrix**** is seeking a ****Telecommunications Engineer -- Level III**** to support the design, testing, upgrade, and integration of enterprise telecommunication networks, systems, and equipment in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role performs advanced engineering tasks and contributes to the successful implementation and optimization of telecommunications infrastructure.

****What you'll do****

* Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables in accordance with industry standards
* Perform installation, modification, repair, and removal of cable infrastructure components
* Conduct end-to-end cable testing to verify proper functionality and performance
* Troubleshoot and repair cable infrastructure issues to restore service and maintain reliability
* Document and catalog all actions performed on cable systems to ensure accurate infrastructure records
* Read and interpret engineering diagrams for buildings and cable plant infrastructure
* Ensure cable installations and modifications align with technical requirements and standards
* Design, test, upgrade, and integrate new or existing telecommunication networks in accordance with business and mission requirements
* Document all aspects of the engineering process, including build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
* Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard telecommunication networks and systems
* Coordinate with architecture teams to evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to network infrastructure
* Troubleshoot complex telecommunication issues and support resolution of system performance challenges
* Collaborate with senior technical staff and end users to successfully complete engineering projects
* Provide technical guidance and may supervise junior personnel supporting telecommunications operations

****Qualifications****

****Education/Experience:****

* Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in telecommunications engineering or related IT infrastructure roles
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

****Certifications:****

* CompTIA CASP , CCNP

* Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
