Environmental Project Engineer

Job Description

Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to join their Dallas, Texas team!

Responsibilities:  

* Prepare planning/ design documents in appropriate engineering discipline
* Coordinate work of assistant, associate professional staff and technical staff
* Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and use economic analyses for comparison of alternatives
* Develop project scope of work; develop project schedule; prepare project initiation paperwork; manage budget reviews and schedule progress reports
* Coordinate projects with other teams; perform/coordinate design aspects of projects; direct team members on design tasks; maintain project records (correspondence, drawings, and files); coordinate with clients; attend client meetings
* Manage the preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to effectively communicate findings to clients/internal teams
* Serve as project manager
* Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
* Assist with marketing / business development and prepare project proposals

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
* 5+ years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience, specifically with water / wastewater treatment or environmental design
* PE License
* Proficient with engineering tools, software, and methodologies
* Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD

Salary is commensurate with experience.
