Bridge Engineer

Job Description

Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in St. Louis!  

Responsibilities:

* Provides high-level project design
* Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
* Use technical expertise to apply advanced engineering concepts and develop approaches to solve complex issues
* Ensure delivery of completed designs that meet quality standards and project objectives.
* Conducts research in areas of considerable scope and complexity
* Advises/lead staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements
* Works collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work
* Assist with developing standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team
* Mentor/train junior staff

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
* Master's degree preferred
* 6+ years of experience
* PE License  
* Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX)
* Extensive knowledge working on MoDOT bridge projects
* Working knowledge of MicroStation software

Salary is commensurate with experience.
