Job Description

The Transportation Engineer 1 will design and review electrical elements for traffic control signals and prepare plans using CAD software. They will also coordinate with utilities on traffic engineering signal projects and conduct field inspections.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and one year of experience in transportation engineering or transportation construction engineering is required. Preferred qualifications include experience with traffic signal projects and familiarity with CTDOT standards.
