Sr. Datastage Engineer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a **Sr. DataStage Engineer** to lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data engineering and ETL modernization programs, managing scope, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities \& Qualifications

* Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data engineering and ETL modernization programs
* Manage scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
* Coordinate DataStage migration initiatives with ETL developers, architects, and cloud engineers
* Own ServiceNow ticket lifecycle including intake, prioritization, change management, and incident tracking
* Apply advanced SQL skills to validate data and support testing activities
* Investigate data issues and monitor delivery quality throughout project lifecycle
* Produce executive dashboards, RAID logs, project plans, and status reporting
* Facilitate sprint ceremonies, steering committees, and governance meetings

Requirements

* 8-10 years of experience
* **IBM DataStage** expertise
* Advanced **SQL** skills
* **ServiceNow** experience
* **Cloud data platforms** knowledge including **Snowflake** and **AWS**
* ETL delivery and data warehousing experience
* Project management capabilities with proficiency in **Jira** , **Confluence** , and **MS Project**
