Hybrid Travel 20 Join the Maverick Power Team At Maverick Power we dont just build power distribution solutionswe redefine industry standards Recognized on the 2025 Inc 5000 list as 16 in the US 2 in Manufacturing and 1 in Texas we are committed to driving innovation quality and speed With multiple manufacturing facilities across North Texas and Phoenix we are expanding rapidly and looking for top talent to grow with us If you are ready to be part of a high energy solutions driven team where your work makes an impact Maverick Power is the place for you What We Offer Competitive Salary Bonus PotentialPaid Time Off 401K Matching Medical Dental and Vision BenefitsHigh growth organization with advancement opportunitiesDiverse Collaborative \& Fun Work EnvironmentAbout the Role The Electrical Engineer designs and integrates electrical power distribution systems for modular solutions serving mission critical data centers and industrial markets oil \& gas renewablesBESS mining and utility You will take ownership of electrical scope on projects of moderate to high complexity coordinating interfaces across switchgearswitchboards transformers protection ATS UPS systems batteries grounding and auxiliary systems This role partners closely with mechanical controls manufacturing and field teams to deliver safe code compliant manufacturable modular systems Key Responsibilities Develop one lines three lines as required and overall power architectures for modular E Houses and skids MV and LVSize and specify major equipment switchgearswitchboards transformers bus ductbusway interfaces breakers fuses metering power quality componentsPerform equipment sizing studies and calculations as applicable load summaries short circuit protective device coordination inputs arc flash data inputs voltage drop where requiredDefine grounding and bonding strategy including interfaces to skidbaseframe and site grounding systemsSpecify and integrate ATS and UPS systems including bypassmaintenance arrangements redundancy philosophies N N1 2N and operational modesCoordinate electrical interfaces for battery systems supporting UPS andor energy storage DC distribution battery cabinetsracks disconnects monitoring and safety interfacesDefine interlocks and control interfaces alarms permissives trips emergency power off in coordination with controlsprotection teamsDevelop schematics and wiring concepts for auxiliary power controls power lighting receptacles and panelboards within the moduleCoordinate with mechanicalfire systems for power and signal interfaces HVAC units dampers detectionsuppression releasing panels ventilation shutdownsSupport compliance activities as required ULNRTL customer standards IEC interfaces when applicable and coordinate with suppliers on documentationProduce andor review electrical drawing packages one lines schematics layouts interconnect diagrams cable schedules and support BOM developmentSupport FATSAT and commissioning activities; troubleshoot electrical issues and drive corrective actionsQualifications BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 4 years of experience designing industrial or mission critical power distribution systems data center experience strongly preferredHands on experience with one line creation and electrical system integration across switchgearswitchboards protection and controls interfacesWorking knowledge of US electrical codesstandards relevant to the work eg NECNFPA 70 NFPA 70E;
