Expert Electrical Engineer, ATS Grid & Electrification Innovation

Job Description

The Expert Electrical Engineer will perform complex power system analysis, engineering studies, and HIL testing of emerging T&D grid technologies. They will partner with various teams within PG&E to provide technical consultation and support from planning through production implementation of new technologies.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required, along with 7 years or more of job-related experience in specific areas such as Power Flow Modeling and HIL Testing. A Master’s degree and Professional Engineer’s License are desired, along with experience in utility modeling software and strong analytical skills.
