### - We typically look for 8 to 12 years of systems engineering experience delivering high-stakes technical solutions. - We require a degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited university, or equivalent practical knowledge gained through apprenticeship and professional experience. - We need strong software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns and modern development practices, with the ability to tackle complex coding and architecture challenges independently. - We value a strong delivery mindset, with the discipline to see work through to production-ready completion. - We expect you to manage your own workload, execute your share of implementation plans independently, and communicate progress and blockers transparently. - We look for a record of acting with integrity, accepting accountability, and doing the right thing even in difficult situations. - Active Secret clearance is required, and U.S. citizenship is required. - We require a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or computer/software engineering. - We need deep experience with Python async programming and scripting, including binding C++ to Python using pybind11 or Cython. - We look for strong Kubernetes and containerization experience, including Docker, Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, and custom Operators or low-latency cloud infrastructure optimization. - We require experience with Linux internals, distributed systems, CI/CD automation, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. - Preferred qualifications include strong C++17/20 expertise, RAII, smart pointers, multithreading, and CMake. - Preferred experience includes building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid C++/Python containerized workloads. - Preferred background includes configuration management, GitOps, branching strategies, tag management, and Infrastructure as Code.
