Senior Software Engineer -- SAP S/4HANA

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Location:** Chennai \& Bangalore (Hybrid)

**Experience:** 6--11 Years

**Compensation:** Up to ?25 LPA (Final compensation will be based on experience, current CTC, and market alignment.)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, configuration, production support, and business process analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA solutions.

* Design, develop, configure, test, and support SAP S/4HANA applications.

* Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and production support activities.

* Gather business requirements and recommend optimal technical solutions.

* Design high-level solution architecture and integration strategies.

* Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams.

* Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and system integrations where required.

* Follow software engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.

* Optimize application performance and improve overall system reliability.

* Ensure adherence to security standards and data protection best practices.

* Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.

* Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.

Required Skills

* 6 years of overall IT experience.

* Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation, development, or production support experience.

* Strong experience working as an SAP S/4HANA Analyst or Consultant.

* Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.

* Knowledge of SAP payment and reconciliation processes.

* Experience with SAP Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

* Experience with Intercompany Billing (IHB).

* Proficiency in at least one programming language or working knowledge of multiple programming languages.

* Understanding of software architecture and design principles.

* Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations.

* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development.

* Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

* Experience with software testing and automation.

* Familiarity with software design patterns and secure coding practices.

* Exposure to emerging SAP technologies and frameworks.

* Relevant SAP certifications are an added advantage.

* Experience mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)30089.
